This policy governs the collection, storage and use of personal information collected by FaceToFace Communications Limited, FaceToFace Communications Pty Ltd, hereinafter referred to as FaceToFace, via our web site at www.facetofacecommunications.com or through our Cloud Services.
Personal information is very important to us and we do all we can to protect it. This policy provides details about the personal information we collect, how we use your personal information and your rights to control the personal information we hold about you. Please read this policy carefully. Once you use the Portal or our Cloud Services available via it you will be deemed to have read and consented to this policy in its entirety. If you do not agree to this policy in its entirety, you must not use the Portal or the Cloud Services.

The personal information we collect about you
When you access and use the Portal and use the Cloud Services available via it, including when you register and submit information to us through data entry fields, we may collect personal information from you including names, phone numbers and e-mail addresses.
In the case of channel partners accessing the Portal on behalf of end user organisations, we may collect their users’ personal information including names, phone numbers and e-mail addresses.
The Portal only uses functionality cookies. These are used to recognise you when you return to the Portal. This enables us to personalise our content for you and remember your preferences. More information about the individual cookies we use and the purposes for which we use them are set out below:
- "PortalLoginToken" is used to prevent users from having to re-enter login details after navigating away and back to the page.
- "PbxLoginToken" is used to speed up display of proxied pages.
You can disable and/or delete all types of cookies by using your browser settings. You can usually find this option under privacy in your browser options or preferences. Please note that if you do this it may impair the functionality of the Portal.
How we may store and use your information
We (or third party data processors acting on our behalf) may collect, store and use your personal information listed above to: (i) make the Portal and the Cloud Services provided via it available to you and to provide you with content which is tailored to your individual tastes; (ii) provide you with services that you request; (iii) provide you with information on specific services; and (iv) where you have given us your consent, contact you with products and services which we think may interest you.
We will not disclose, sell or rent your personal information to any third party unless you have consented to this, except: (i) to the extent that we are required to do so by applicable law, by a governmental body or by a law enforcement agency, or for crime prevention purposes; (ii) in connection with any legal proceedings (including prospective legal proceedings); (iii) in order to establish or defend our legal rights; (iv) in the event that we buy or sell any business or assets, in which case we may disclose your personal data to the prospective sellers or buyer of such business or assets; or (v) if a third party acquires all (or substantially all) of our business and/or assets, we may disclose your personal information to that third party in connection with the acquisition.
Any information provided by you to us which is not personal information including but not limited to product related questions, feedback, comments, ideas and suggestions shall be deemed to be non-confidential. We shall have no obligation of any kind with respect to such information and shall be free to reproduce, use, disclose and distribute this information to others without limitation.
Wherever possible, the media associated with all StarLeaf originating or terminating audio and video communications (“calls”) is encrypted, and cannot be accessed by any StarLeaf employees. Calls are not monitored or recorded. Where you have given us your consent, we may monitor calls in order to investigate bugs and service issues. Call records will not be made available to anyone outside of FaceToFace, without the prior consent of the organisation whose FaceToFace Cloud Services account was used to originate the calls.
We take reasonable precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information. Our employees, contractors and agents may be given access to your personal information which we collect, but their use shall be limited to the performance of their duties in relation to facilitating your use of the Portal and the services available via it. Our employees, contractors and agents who have access to your personal information are required to keep that information confidential and are not permitted to use it for any purposes other than those listed above or to deal with requests which you submit to us.
Whilst we take appropriate technical and organisational measures to safeguard the personal information that you provide to us, no transmission over the Internet can ever be guaranteed to be totally secure and therefore we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any personal information that you transfer over the Internet to us.
Third party sites
You have the following rights:
- The right to ask us to provide you with copies of personal information that we hold about you at any time, subject to a fee specified by law.
- The right to ask us to update and correct any out-of-date or incorrect personal information that we hold about you free of charge.
